Rooftops sell views, and guests stay longer when they can sit back against something. This banquette runs along the parapet with a tall channel-stitched back in burnt-orange marine vinyl and a firm seat, set on an open black steel frame with a low stretcher.
Built for the roof
- Open frame: square-section steel legs and a perimeter rail lift the seat off the deck, so drainage, sweeping and deck inspection stay easy.
- Upholstery: outdoor marine vinyl over quick-dry foam; the vertical channels shed water down and off the seat.
- Wind: the frame can be fixed to the deck or to ballast where the roof structure allows; we detail the fixing on the drawing.
Pairing
The photo shows the banquette with a bar-height table on a black pedestal and rope-back bar stools with cushioned seats. Mind the height mix: a dining-height banquette belongs with dining tables, so for a bar table specify the banquette at counter or bar seat height with a footrest rail.
Lengths are cut to your parapet, typically in sections of 59–79 in (150–200 cm) that join into one run. Vinyl color, back height, seat height and frame finish are confirmed on drawings.
