The first question with any outdoor booth is how soon it can be sat on after rain. The Tidewater answers it in the structure. The seat deck carries a row of 12 mm (½ in) drain holes at 200 mm (8 in) centers and is pitched 2° toward the front edge, so water runs out instead of pooling under the cushion. The cushion itself is open-cell quick-dry foam in a solution-dyed acrylic cover, with webbing straps and snaps underneath so a gust cannot lift it off the deck.
The frame is welded 6061-T6 aluminum, pretreated and finished in an outdoor-grade powder coat specified to AAMA 2604 performance (fluoropolymer AAMA 2605-level systems are available for coastal sites). The plinth sits on adjustable glides, keeping the base out of standing water and level on pitched patios. A hinged seat section can be specified for cushion storage overnight.
Drying time still depends on sun and wind, but a drained deck and open-cell foam put the booth back in service far sooner than a closed seat box. Run it along a patio wall, back-to-back as an island, or in L and U configurations; every run is cut to your measured length.
